Living Between Two Cultures: A Personal Journey That Inspired Compassionate Care 

Growing up as the eldest daughter in a Punjabi household, Nancy experienced firsthand the responsibilities, expectations, cultural messages, and family dynamics that shape many individuals' experiences. Throughout her life, these experiences were often challenging, and also sparked a deep curiosity about human behavior, emotional well-being, and resilience.
 

Nancy entered the field of psychology with a commitment to making mental health care more accessible, culturally responsive, and empowering. Today, she is passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges while honouring the complexities of their identities and lived experiences.
