Initial Consult
We offer a free 15-minute phone call when you first inquire about services. This phone call allow us to get to know one another, and learn what brings you to therapy. We can talk about your goals for therapy and what you can expect for treatment. We can also discuss fees and timing of sessions. Please note that you are not committed whatsoever to book a session after our consultation. We will discuss other options if there is a more appropriate service for you.
Assessment
At Lotus Wellness, we offer psychodiagnostics assessments to be completed by a psychologist. The psychodiagnostics assessment is a comprehensive assessment which typically includes a structured clinical interview and questionnaires to complete. Following the assessment, you will be provided with feedback on your symptoms, and whether these symptoms meet diagnostic criteria for a mental health condition. A formal report will also be written. Therapy
We provide one to one therapy using Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches, such as emotion regulation skills, mindfulness-based approaches, and self-compassion. CBT is evidence-based and skills focused. The goals of CBT is to promote awareness to unhelpful thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and provides skills to better manage them.
